Мемлекетіміз үшін маңызды болған Парламент Мәжілісі және мәслихат депутаттарының кезектен тыс сайлауы бойынша Түркістан облысында орналасқан барлық сайлау учаскелері жергілікті уақыт бойынша мемлекеттік әнұран шырқалып, салтанатты түрде ашылды.
Учаскелерде дауыс беру жергілікті уақыт бойынша сағат 07:00-ден 20:00-ге дейін жүргізіледі. Учаскелік сайлау комиссиялары жергілікті уақыт бойынша сағат 20:00-де дауыс санауды, дауыс беру нәтижелері туралы хаттама жасауды бастайды.
Осы орайда, облыста биылғы сайлауда 941 сайлау учаскесі, 1 млн. 168 мың 658 сайлаушы бар. Бұл орайда, өңірде жылдан жылға азаматтық белсенділік артып келеді.
19 қаңтар күні Президент Қасым-Жомарт Тоқаев ҚР Парламентінің жетінші сайланған Мәжілісін тарату туралы Жарлық шығарды. Мәжіліс құрамында 107 депутат бар еді. Ал жаңадан жасақталатын Мәжілісте Қазақстан халқы Ассамблеясы атынан сайланатын 9 мандат қысқарып, 98 депутат қалады және олардың өкілеттік мерзімі – бес жыл болмақ.
Енді Мәжіліс депутаттарының 70 пайызы партиялық тізім арқылы, ал қалған 30 пайызы – бірмандатты округтерден сайланады. Үміткерлер сайлауға партиялар мен үкіметтік емес ұйымдар атынан қатыса алады және өзін-өзі ұсынуға мүмкіндік алады.
Облыстардың, республикалық маңызы бар қалалардың және астананың мәслихаттарына депутаттардың 50 пайызы мажоритарлы жүйе бойынша, ал қалған 50 пайызы – партиялық тізімдер бойынша сайланбақ. Аудандар мен қалалардың мәслихаттарына сайлау толық мажоритарлық жүйе бойынша өтеді. Мажоритарлық жүйе – саяси партиялар емес, нақты жеке тұлғалар дауысқа түсетін әдіс.

Мәжіліс сайлауына 7 саяси партия тіркелді, олар – «Қазақстанның Халық партиясы», «Ауыл» халықтық-демократиялық патриоттық партиясы, «Жалпыұлттық социал-демократиялық партиясы, «AMANAT» партиясы, «Ақ жол» Қазақстанның демократиялық партиясы, «Байтақ» Қазақстандық жасылдар партиясы, «Respublica» партиясы.
Республикалық телеарналарда тікелей эфирде Мәжілісі сайлауына қатысатын 7 партия өкілдері арасында үш дебат өтті.
